Install Intel Graphics Command Center without Microsoft Store

Sometimes for security reasons, enterprise will block the Microsoft Store. Unfortunately for me, that means I can’t disable the “power saving” feature that seems to randomly dim or brighten the screen depending on the contrast of the things on the screen at the time as the companion utility to the driver has moved only to the Microsoft Store. Here’s how it can done done with local admin rights:

1. Go to https://apps.microsoft.com/store/apps
2. Search for your App
3. Copy the URL with the ID, for example: https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/intel%C2%AE-graphics-command-center/9PLFNLNT3G5G
4. Go to https://store.rg-adguard.net/ and search with the link you copied
5. Find and download the appxbundle (the largest file)
6. Move it to your desktop and run it to install
7. Done!
